New Zealand employers could refuse ‘just for fun’ dreadlocks

A United States court has ruled that refusing to hire someone with dreadlocks is legal – but whether an employer would get away with the same in New Zealand depends a lot on the reason the person has dreadlocks in the first place, an employment law expert says.
