Videogames based on movies don’t have a great reputation, and with good reason. But in almost all cases, the source material for these woeful games are great films, or at least decent ones. What would happen if you made a game based off a really awful film – would the inverse hold true? The Huntsman: Winter’s Curse makes a compelling argument for that hypothesis, because despite being based on the abysmal The Huntsman: Winter’s War, it’s actually rather good.
